Who operates this website
AmherstFundraising.com is operated by Kenneth Graef in his role as the baseball coach organizing support for the Amherst 8U team. The website is a team fundraising and recordkeeping tool. It is not a bank or payment processor, and it does not represent that the coach or website is a separate nonprofit organization. Team funds are intended to be turned over to Amherst Athletic Association for the team's baseball account. The Association and the bank do not operate this website merely because they receive or hold team funds.
Using the website
By creating an account or registering, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Adult supporters and parents manage their own accounts using an email sign-in code. Keep your email account and sign-in codes private. Do not use another person's account, submit false payment reports, scrape personal information, or interfere with the website. Contact support@amherstfundraising.com if you suspect account misuse.
Donations and sponsorships
The Team Fund supports team expenses such as equipment, uniforms, tournament fees, umpire fees, field costs and team activities. Supporting a named player credits team fundraising participation; it does not create a personal cash entitlement for the player or family. Sponsorship benefits are limited to those published for the selected tier when you register. A payment confirmation is a record of receipt, not a determination that your payment is tax-deductible. We do not promise tax deductibility.
Payment and confirmation
Available payment methods are Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, PayPal and cash. Checks are not accepted. Payments take place outside this website and are subject to the payment provider's terms. Check the recipient and amount before sending, and include your registration reference. Never give us a payment-app password, card number or bank account number. Registration or an 'I paid' report does not prove receipt. An authorized administrator must verify and record the money received.
Cash collected by a parent or representative
Give cash only to the coach or a team representative whose collection role the coach has approved. Record the recipient, amount, date and registration reference. Choosing a player or naming a parent does not itself show that cash changed hands. The recipient must confirm actual receipt before the cash is recorded as held by that person. The recipient is then responsible for safeguarding and turning over that amount to the team. A pledge to collect cash later remains unpaid. Contact the coach to resolve a missing payment, declined collection request or disputed amount. These responsibilities apply whether confirmation is obtained directly or through a website feature that is available at the time.
Prize fundraisers
A listed fundraiser is not open for entry until its entry options and rules are published and registration is available. Any raffle, pool or other prize activity requires its own organizer, eligibility conditions, price, deadline, prize description, selection method, cancellation terms and applicable approvals. This website's listing does not establish legal authorization to run an activity. Alcohol prizes require participants and recipients to be at least 21, lawful eligibility and age verification before handover. Other prize activities require participants to be at least 18 unless their rules require an older age. No purchase or entry should be made for an activity that is still being finalized.
Refunds and changes
For a duplicate, mistaken or disputed payment, contact support@amherstfundraising.com with your registration reference and details. Refunds are reviewed by the coach, arranged outside the website and recorded in the payment history. Do not send sensitive account credentials in a refund request. If a paid activity is cancelled, affected supporters will be told how refunds will be handled under its published rules and applicable law. Material changes to a paid entry or promised sponsorship benefit will be communicated to affected supporters; this policy does not waive any rights provided by law.
Public recognition and availability
Public recognition may include sponsor business details, a supporter's display name and message, or information described on a particular fundraiser's page. Use an available anonymous-display option if you do not want donor recognition; administrators still need your identity for records. Do not include private information about yourself or a child in a public message. The website may be unavailable or contain errors. Report discrepancies so we can investigate and correct the records; a website display alone is not proof that funds were received or deposited.

Ohio law governs these Terms, subject to rights and laws that cannot be excluded. Updated Terms will show a new effective date, and material changes affecting existing registrations will be communicated to affected users. No provision is intended to exclude liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
